Hello! Yeah, I was wondering if there was anywhere that I can buy the second disc of the second season of Stargate Atlantis…I need a new one cause,uh, let’s just say it was a casualty of war. So, yeah, or if I could just buy the volume with that disc.

Even though vampire books, as well as movies, have been around for decades, only in the last few years has their popularity reached new heights. Nearly comparable to Beatlemania in the 1960s. Some examples of this fact can be found in such recently released presentations as HBO’s “Right Blood”, the CW’s “The Vampire Diaries”, and, of course, “Twilight: New Moon”.

Keeping in line with such vampire-mania of late, is a recently written, and available through Lulu.com, vampire book by a former screenwriter, Dan Bivens, whose most recent work will be seen in a soon-to-be-released, in association with Martian Productions, Sci-Fi/Horror film being helmed by “Stargate: Atlantis” director David Winning.

The name of this newest vampire book, joining the growing book-download market, is “Eternity’s End”.

“Eternity’s End” is a character-driven novel that closely follows 8 vampires, whom are the last of their kind, as they are forced to face the end of their immortality. The reader will not only come to learn all about them, and their inglorious Beginnings, but will also come to learn of a desperate plot, by captive Humans, against these vampires, feeding upon them in order to continue their Undead existences, meant to liberate themselves from the tyrannical grasp of the Eternal Eight. Thus threatening to bring about the vampires’ inevitable end far sooner than expected. Something the last of the Undead will jealously, and violently, attempt to avoid.

“Eternity’s End” successfully presents these vampires in as realistic, and believable, a manner as has been done with such as “Right Blood”, “Twilight”, “The Vampire Diaries”, the Anne Rice books, as well as others.

What makes “Eternity’s End” unique, a fact not lost on Martian Productions, whom have already ear-marked the novel for filming, and plotted theatrical release, by 2011, is the fact the novel’s tale is placed in a unique-to-vampires setting that no other vampire writer has yet to use.

Question by Oragami Sauce: what do the different colors on the jackets of the actors in Stargate Atlantis mean?
There’s 3 or 4 colors on the jackets the actors wear (or wore?) in Stargate Atlantis…There’s yellow, blue, red, and gray (i reckon)…I reckon yellow is Medical, red is ‘admin’ (or something of the like), and blue is ‘Other Offworld’…not sure about gray.

Is there any ‘evidence’ to show what they really mean?

Here’s something I found:

The jacket colors are their department insignia.

Yellow = medical
Black = security
Blue = sciences
Red = administration
Green = support (apparently, as Sgt. Chuck the Canadian Gate Guy is military but not security, and he wears green)

Here’s another list:
Jacket colors: Charcoal Grey, Black, Tan
Panel colors:
- Black = Security Force (Lt Col Shepherd)
- Maroon Red = Operations (Dr Weir & Teyla)

I’ve read that the SGA and SG-1 movies have been place on hold, but do you guys know if they have resumed filming and when the movies should come out? Also theres a rumor that if the movies sales are excellent for the SGA movie that Stargate Atlantis may return as a series..is this possibly right?

An exact date has yet to be announced. It’s most likely still in 2009 (in fall from what I’ve read) unlike the third SG-1 movie that will (probably) be released in 2010.

And Universe was bumped from a summer release to fall a while ago.

Stargate Atlantis movie has been went to a 2010 release due to a variety of factors. Stargate: Universe will premiere the Fall of 2009 on the SciFi Channel (US).

Celebrities team up with followers for fun, sun, charity and a small golf too. Fans For Life is sponsoring a celebrity golf tournament at the Scholl Canyon Golf Club in Glendale, CA, on Saturday, October 6, 2007, to benefit the AIDS Service Center of Pasadena (and other selected charities).

Foursomes consisting of one genre celebrity and three fans will play 18 holes in a scramble format. Tee times will start at 8 a.m with driving range time and lunch included, and a spectator’s gallery will be available at selected locations on the course. An awards banquet and auction will be held in the evening, where fans will be able to visit with a celebrity at their dinner table and bid on items in a live auction.
