Question by question legend: Do you agree with me stargate universe is rubbish compared to sg1 and sga?
Being a long fan of the stargate franchise i found both stargate sg1 and stargate atlantis and brilliant series (unfortunately they finished) anyway i find stargate universe to be very poor, i find the cast dont go together and the tale is a bit dull.
What do you reckon please let me know

absolutely there were too many turkeys in both sg-1 and atlantis that’s why they were cancelled but cooper and wright have gone nuts with this rubbish I can’t see it going to a second season, the tale would have to improve before it reached dull

I completely agree. I gave it a shot, I didn’t read any of the spoilers, watched the trailers and the few episodes that have aired with an open mind but I honestly can’t take it anymore. I stopped watching the last episode half way through because I couldn’t take any more of it. It’s dull, drama-filled, extremely predictable and apart from the name of the show and the fact that they have a gate on the ship it has nothing to do with Stargate. The show treats the viewers as if they were 5 year ancient idiots and I, for one, as a long time, die hard fan of the franchise, take that as an offence! This is why they cancelled SGA?! I’ll just stick to my SG-1 and Atlantis DVDs.

Yes, I really reckon it’s terrible. TPTB did NOT have any thought what they were doing when they kicked Atlantis to the street. I loved SG-1, and I could kinda know why it finished, after all it went for ten years! Still sad it finished though…Anyway, Atlantis had only gone 5 years and it was just catching it’s best light! There was sooooooooo much more they could do with it! And, the fan base was already built. Personally, I reckon they saw Battle Star Galactica ending and thought “Oh hey! I gots an thought! Why don’t we get rid of the EXCELLENT STARGATE and make it into slutty shit so we can grab all the Battle Star fans who were left hanging! We can make lots of money!” So, yeah, I really, really hope it dies, even if it means the end of the Stargate, at least it’d go out with honor rather than go on as slutty-dark-shit. That shit they call Universe, doesn’t deserve to bare the Stargate name and all the RIGHT Stargate fans know it…Oh, hark how the mighty have fallen! Morn the lost of excellent TV, for SciFi will never be the same again…Goodbye my like, goodbye…
i reckon air part 1 and light have been the only “relatively excellent” ones, but they were still shit, the only thing universe is is “there’s no life support, no water, were gunna die” its too dark, but because they’re so far in the universe, i dont see how they can make it any better or have any enemies, its steering more in the direction of a soap than a sci fi show, im gunna watch the first season and if it doesnt get any better then im stopping. i absolutely loved sg- and atlantis and when i heard about this new show i was syked, but its been a huge let down. Another thing is that there isnt a catchy theme tune or an introduction theme, and theres no hot chicks like carter and vala on sg-1 and weir and teyla on atlantis.
